Request a QuoteView ProductsPackaging is often the last decision on a private-label makeup brush project and it should not be. It affects perceived value, shipping cost, retail presentation and how the product survives distribution.
Individual box
The individual box is the simplest option: one brush, one box, carrying your logo and specification information. It suits collections where brushes are sold as individual products rather than as a set, and it works well for gift-with-purchase programmes.
Brush pouch
A pouch is the most economical way to turn a set into a single retail unit. It is light, packs flat and keeps brushes contained in a bag or drawer. For 5- and 8-piece sets, a matching pouch is often the difference between a set and a collection of loose brushes.
Brush bag and professional case
A structured bag or case gives a more formal presentation and supports premium or gift positioning. Larger configurations — 24 and 32 pieces — usually need a professional bag sized to the collection, with the internal layout matched to the brush specification being supplied.
Gift box and set packaging
A gift box is the outermost layer and defines how the set arrives. It is where your brand presentation is most visible, so it is worth matching the box structure, insert and ribbon or strap to the bag and handle colors.
- Match bag and box materials to the handle and ferrule colors.
- Decide early: changing packaging after approval is expensive.
- Consider insert layout for sets with mixed brush lengths.
- Confirm whether packaging is included in your MOQ calculation.
Buyers judge a private-label range by the packaging first, because that is what arrives in the box.
A note on MOQ
MOQ varies depending on product, logo method, packaging and customization requirements. Custom packaging generally carries a higher minimum than neutral components, so it is worth asking for a quotation with and without custom packaging to understand the trade-off before committing.
